My journey into Forex was driven by the profound impact it had on my life. Before diving into my Forex journey, let’s first take a step back and look at the traditional 9-to-5 work model and my experience with property investment. Both of these avenues had their merits, but they share a common limitation: they teach us to exchange our time for money. In a typical job, you have an hourly or daily rate, and in my case, I was working tirelessly seven days a week, making a decent income of around £9,000 per month. But then, Forex entered the picture, and in just two hours, I made the same amount – £9,000. This was a pivotal moment for me, leading me to question why I hadn’t explored Forex earlier.

The traditional education system often conditions us to believe that we must exchange our time for money, or pursue a long and arduous career path. However, Forex challenges this mindset. While Forex trading is not without its challenges, it has the potential to generate substantial returns. It’s essential to note that you need capital to make money in Forex. I personally started with a significant investment, and I recommend doing the same. Starting with a small sum like £500 won’t yield life-changing results. If you lack the initial capital, consider seeking support from someone who can provide it. I work with individuals who have a minimum of £25,000 to ensure they can trade profitably.

Now, let’s revisit my journey. After my 9-to-5 job, I ventured into property investment, where I acquired below-market-value properties and utilized creative financing methods. This strategy allowed me to make consistent profits of around £30,000 to £35,000 per property purchase. By the age of 25, I was financially comfortable, but my time was still not entirely my own. Managing a property portfolio, especially one with over 100 properties, was a full-time responsibility that came with stress and constant maintenance.

At 26, in 2008, I discovered Forex trading, and it was a revelation. Initially, I faced challenges, but with the guidance of a London-based trader who became my mentor, I started making £9,000 in just two hours. This success prompted me to rethink the concept of trading time for money. Forex introduced me to the concept of leveraging time and resources, which allowed me to diversify my interests and pursue multiple business ventures.

Forex trading transformed the way I viewed money, investments, and risk management. It instilled in me a professional approach to financial decisions, emphasizing return on investment and risk assessment. These skills seamlessly translated into my business endeavors. Today, I’m involved in various ventures, from technology companies to public listings, and I wouldn’t have understood the financial markets’ intricacies without my Forex experience.
